Alebrijes are whimsical carvings depicting animals, people, objects, and imaginary creatures painted with intense colors and intricate patterns.

Each piece is one of a kind. They are carved by hand by the local artisans from Oaxaca and painted with detailed patterns of stripes, dots, geometric shapes, flowers and flames.
